Another great mornings racing with 23 of us partaking.

And it just goes to show, get your butts outta bed and get down to Shek-O. Not a drop of rain to be seen, although admittedly the water was a little bit more choppy than it appeared from the shoreline, which affected a few, and left others undeterred.

The bike had a few blustery moments, but was in general fine – and the slightly damp roads didn’t appear to slow any of us down, which I’m not sure is a good thing – just goes to show how mad you lot all are probably!!

A big welcome from all of us to our two club newbies, Simon Porter finally turned up of weeks of various excuses ;-) and also Mary Ho is no longer a virgin….of the triathlete sort. What an initiation, SSTR4 with that rough swim – a huge congrats for battling through, not just heat 1, but all 3 heats – we accept you – you are tough enough for the Dragons – welcome J

The 2 Brownlee’s – Long lost cousin and great, great, great, great grandfather to the famous British Brownlee’s put in great performances. Jarrad with a hangover and Ian showing you can still compete aged 172 J

Special thanks to Dave Gibb for being our swim marshal which was hugely appreciated and also to Peter for timekeeping.
