Dragons King and Queen of the Mountains 2017

posted 13 Jan 2018, 20:43 by HK Dragons Triathlon Club
Congratulations once again to the true King and Queen of Hong Kong's challenging (and most frequented hills) Olaf Kasten and Yann Kai Oh who for the second consecutive year jointly held the Dragons King and Queen of the Mountains competition. Special mention must in particular go to Yann Kai, who has held the title of Dragons Queen of the Mountain since the competition began in 2013 and so this is her 5th consecutive year of holding the title!

There was also the race for the sub-competitions where the 12 segments are split into three and which are raced by those who are not going for the overall. Massive congratulations to Philippe Consentino, a relative newcomer to cycling, who took all but one of the sub-races, fighting a very determined challenge by Nick Adamus; and to the very plucky Cora van Laer and Christina Hudson for taking the ladies races
