It really has been a busy time of late so apologies for the lack of communication. Trust you have all busy training for the ITU in a week's time.
Those Dragons who competed in the last race are aware of the great work being done by the Institute of Human Performance at the HKU. We had the fabulous AM and Fen helping out at our last race. They are very keen to support Triathlon in Hong Kong and, naturally, the Dragons Committee is very keen to work with them in any way that we can.
The good folk at IHP have made us the following fabulous offer for coaching sessions:
This new membership tier called the FlexiPass. For $800, FlexiPass participants essentially
purchase 6 coached sessions up
front, to be used within 1 month
from the time of purchase. (Sessions are
non-transferable)
FOR NON-DRAGONS
MEMBERS:
- Sign up for
the first time before September 30th, 2007 and get 2 FREE sessions (8 sessions for the price
of 6). Should individuals decide to renew the FlexiPass after their first 8
session, they will revert to getting the original 6 sessions on their second
purchase
- Sign up for
the first time between October 1st and November 30th 2007 and get
1 FREE session (so 7 sessions for
the price of 6). Should individuals decide to renew the FlexiPass after their
first 7 session, they will revert to getting the original 6 sessions on their
second purchase.
FOR DRAGONS MEMBERS ONLY, we would also like to
offer a special extended
offer.
- Dragons
members renewing their Flexipass will continue to enjoy 1 FREE session until the expiration of our
offer, 30 November, 2007. For example, if a member decides to buy his first
pass on Sep 20, he will have 8 sessions worth to be used by Oct 20. If he
decides to renew on Oct 20 or earlier, he will again get the 7 session offer, to
be used within one month and so on. Non-Dragons members will only get 6
sessions the second time they renew.

Please see above
showing a chart of the new FLEXI-PASS scheme. We hope that this will help
to attract more of your members to the IHP Triathlon program at our excellent
IHP facilities. We realize everybody has busy schedules and hopefully having a
more flexible method to join the training program will be attractive to more
people. It is our intention to provide a flexible means whereby enthusiastic
triathletes can reach their competition goals, and we hope that this will also
encourage more participation in the triathlon community in HK.
Should
you have any further questions, please feel to contact me. In the meantime, if
convenient please forward us a complete list of your members so that we can make
sure to award your members with the FREE sessions appropriately.
Kind
regards,
Michael Tse
IHP Assistant Director
(IHP Triathlon Program
Coordinator)
I trust that many Dragons will wish to take advantage of the offer. I have forwarded the list of members to Michael with all details removed except for your names.
