The Tour begins in London this Saturday
Given that the weather lately has been less than conducive to getting out on those "challenging" roads of Hong Kong lately, Dragons may want to work on their motivation by joining others in Wan Chai to watch the Tour. Bo Kratz of the SIR Cycling group has passed on the details:
Every night during the Tour, our favourite bar "The White Stag" on 54 Lockhardt
Road in Wan Chai is broadcasting Europort live (generally starting at 8pm). If
we get enough people down there, Johnny will put it on the big screen.
On this coming Saturday (7th), he will broadcast the Prologue from 8 pm
onwards. I plan to be there around 8.30 pm. I hope to see as many of you there
as possible so that we can outnumber the infidels (ie the soccer fans)
Once you have the motivation back, you may want to consider the HKCA Tung Chung time trial race on 8th July.
8 km distance (1 lap) for age groups (http://www.cycling.org.hk/Eng_Frame/engcalendarframe.htm) If you are interested, please contact Rainbow Ma @ 2504-8176
Also the tour of Hong Kong Shanghai-Stage 1 (29th Jul) at Sha Tin also has a
crit race for age groups.

Finally, for the Adventure Racing fanatics in the group, I have just received the latest Rapid Ascent Newsletter from http://www.rapidascent.com.au/Newsletter
Seems like some great racing in Australia if you have the time/money/inclination!!
Happy Training and see you on the 22nd!
