Hi Swimmers...
Thanks all for coming on friday - great fun! Hope we can
do it again sometime in september or october... i'll try and think of some other
pool games and maybe the watermellon can be refined into a tournament of
sorts...
I'm attaching the spread sheet we used on the night which has
your times. Will be interesting to see in 4 months how it goes!
If you are keen to train once a week on tuesday nights at the football
club, we are training 8-9pm with a coach and 3 lanes - fast, faster and fastest
to accomodate all levels. Just dont ask for a locker and act like you belong
there!
Just to remind you... there is a great open water swim this saturday hosted
by my friends Doug and Doug - swim from Big Wave Bay to Shek O back beach
followed by a beach party (lots of cool prizes and give aways as well!) Meet at
Big Wave Bay at 1.30 race start at 2 and they will transport your stuff to shek
o. If you think 2k swim is a tad much then get out your fins, and you can
participate in the Fin catagory!
And finally - Best of luck to Sheena and Duncan starting up a sister swim
society in Singapore!! (try saying that with a cracker in your mouth!!) Please
come back soon and help us keep this going!
Happy Swimming,
Hello again swimmers... My favorite way to spend time in HK is on the sea
in the outrigger canoes...
It truely is a great escape and a fabulous way to keep or get fit. All
levels of athletes can do this from casual to serious. My club, based in
Stanley is having an open day - come down and give us a try this weekend if you
like. Its quite similar body movements and muscles groups to swimming!
You
might like it....;

Feel free to pass this around.
