I love the 405 and highly recommend it. I won't be using my Polar again.
There are some small downsides:
- Not guaranteed for swimming. They say it's ok for up to 1 meter but shouldn't be used for swimming. You could get around that by maybe putting it under your swim-cap
- Battery only lasts for 8 hours under 'full recording' conditions (i.e. using GPS and HR) so if you're thinking of recording your ironman you had better be quick
For normal day-time conditions the battery is fine (well over a week I think)
Anyway...there are a number of websites which seem ok.
Garmin's own site is basic:
http://connect.garmin.com/activity/179073Although one of my new voyeurisms is to type in a different number on the end of that address and you will see somebody's route

(This is one of my favourites. The inventiveness and creativity is astounding on this route!
http://connect.garmin.com/activity/215597)I did get a couple of other recommendations, such as
http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/But I haven't actually been able to use them much, as I haven't been able to train recently

And
http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/china/hong-kong/539303433Has lots of routes which people have put up.
